DRESS CODE

Dance wear

Proper dance attire allows instructors to observe alignment, posture, and movement for effective teaching and safe technique.

  • Female Students: Must wear appropriate dancewear such as a leotard, sports bra, dance shorts, skirt, leggings, and tights. Cover-ups (sweatshirts, jackets, pants, etc.) must be removed at the start of class. Hair must be neatly secured away from the face in a ponytail, braid, or bun.

  • Male Students: Should wear fitted athletic wear that allows full range of motion (such as t-shirts, athletic shorts, or joggers).

Please Note:
– Street shoes, jeans, or any non-dance/street clothing are never allowed in class.
– Jewelry should be kept to a minimum for safety.
– Proper grooming shows respect for the art of dance and helps create a focused classroom environment.

Shoes

All students must have the correct style and brand of dance shoes for their class. Wearing the wrong shoes can affect performance, safety, and uniformity in group routines.

  • Shoes should be brought to class in a dance bag when not being worn and kept clean for studio use only.

  • All shoes and personal items must be labeled with the student’s name to avoid loss or mix-ups.

  • Street shoes should never be worn on the dance floors to prevent damage and maintain cleanliness.

Where to Purchase:
All required shoes are available through our online Nimbly Store. You can find the link in your Parent Portal under Shared Files. This ensures all students have the correct style, color, and brand for class and performances.
